Portfolios and Learning.

So I have to put together a portfolio for an interview for a photography course I want to enroll in next year. Yikes. I'm really having trouble working out the presentation. I mean, obviously not going to just shove some prints in a plastic sleeve folder! Hmm, not sure how to go about this.

On another note, I found this amaaaaazing blog post that you should definitely check out, about snazzy equipment vs. not-so-snazzy equipment. It's always a big debate, and I think that post was the most comforting and clarifying one I've read on the subject.

New film and the wanting of new film.

Finally got my last roll of film processed! Pretty happy with most of the shots; will be uploading them soon.
I have severe moral issues over whether film shots should be edited. Sigh.

On another note: I desperately want new black and white film! I miss it so. Want to get my hands on some Ilford eventually.

Problems solved?

I think I've sorted out my blog issues. Yay!

Eating way too many raspberry bullets. Addicted? Oh yes.

Photographed my stranger #13 today in the train station convenience store; one of the longest and most interesting conversations I've had with a stranger yet. I really hope the photo turns out! If not, I'm thinking I might just have to go visit him again and get another shot!

Watching Mary Poppins at the moment. I forgot how much I love this movie. Julie Andrews is stunning, Dick Van Dyke is sweet and lovely.

Job interview tomorrow. Hope it goes well; I need some cash! No new film without cash! :(
